[Chemlinked] Taiwan Revises the List of Prohibited Ingredients in Cosmetics

Taiwan updated the List of Prohibited Ingredients in Cosmetics, which adds 4 ingredients and deletes 2 ingredients. The list is scheduled to come into effect from July 1, 2022.
On January 4, 2022, Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) consulted on a draft List of Prohibited Ingredients in Cosmetics. On April 27, 2022, TFDA released the finalized list, which will take effect from July 1, 2022. 1
Compared with the existing list released on June 17, 2021, the new list is subject to the following changes:
