[Chemlinked] Thailand Publishes a List of Claims Allowed in the Labels and Advertisements of Cannabis Cosmetics

The claims for cosmetics containing cannabis and hemp vary by specific product category.
In 2021, Thailand announced the legalization of using low-THC cannabis and hemp in cosmetics. To encourage the innovation of the products added with these ingredients and facilitate business stakeholders, the Thai Food and Drug Administration issued a guideline for claims on the labels and advertisements of cosmetics containing cannabis and hemp on May 20, 2022. 1
Cosmetics that meet the conditions in the table below can use the corresponding claims, or terms with similar meanings.
